Bean Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 can green beans
  • 1 can wax beans
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 1 can garbanzo beans
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1/2 cup celery
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2/3 cup vinegar
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Open and drain each can of beans.
  2. chop onion, green pepper, and celery.
  3. Mix vegetable oil, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Add all beans and vegetables to marinade mixture and chill overnight.

Notes:

  1. If you want Fred to eat some, leave the garbanzos out.
  2. My mom and I were the only ones in the family that ate this… We really like it!
