  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper

  2. In a large bowl, add beef, pork, bread crumbs, onion, milk, eggs, ketchup, worcestershire sauce, parsley, salt, garlic powder, and pepper.
  3. Mix thoroughly using your hands.
  4. Form the meat loaf mixture into 10 meat loaf patties and place on a sheet pan.
  5. Coat the top of the meat loaf patties with a layer of ketchup.
  6. Bake uncovered for 50 – 55 minutes.
  7. Remove from oven and let stand for 8 – 10  minutes before serving.

Notes:

  1. We prefer the meat loaf patties for the versatility of being able to use as a standard meat loaf, meat loaf sandwich, or a meat loaf burger; however, you can place the meat loaf mixture into mini loaf pans for a more traditional experience.
  2. The meat loaf patties can be frozen for later use.  Once the meatloaf patties have been cooked and cooled, place the entire sheet pan in the freezer for 2 hours.  This will help prevent the patties from breaking during reheating.  Divide the meat loaf patties into serving size based on your families needs and place in a freezer container.
  3.  As an alternative to the ketchup topping, try using your favorite BBQ sauce.
  4. The meatloaf mixture can also be formed into meatballs for spaghetti.
  5. Try cooking patties in the BBQ for a more smoky flavor.
